Getting to ALBA
The meeting will be held at ALBA Synchrotron (Barcelona, Spain):

You can follow Google Maps public transport indications from any point except Bellaterra FGC station. From there you can take a shuttle bus that doesn't appear on google. This is the timetable:

Accomodation
Nearest towns to ALBA are Sant Cugat del Vallés and Cerdanyola del Vallés, both connected by public Bus. Other towns (Sabadell, Barcelona, etc.) will require a train+bus combination .
